Do you know where Alphington House use to be. It is recorded in records from the mid 1800s but no one I have spoken to has even heard of the house. There was also an Alphington Cottage.

Many thanks are due to the villager who found Alphington House mentioned in a book for me. So where was it, alongside Cowick Lane right on the edge of the Parish.
